| Here's an easy to tie wing using pheasant tail fibres. |

1.Having torn a section of fibre from the feather measure it up to the
hook.
In this instance I want the wing to run from behind the thread to just
beyond the bend of the shank.

| 2.Now, holding the fibre between finger and thumb begin to
roll it, so that either side folds back on itself and, in effect, you
bunch the fibres together. It's not unlike rolling a cigarette paper. |

3.Take the thread over the fibres to form a loop. Use your fingers as a
guide and draw the loop tight.
Repeat this three times to bind down.
